mFi is a Machine-to-Machine (Internet of Things) platform from Ubiquiti Networks, Inc. mFi hardware can be managed and monitored from the mFi Controller software and the mFi application. The mFi Controller software allows you to create rules that trigger actions based on data from your mFi sensors. For example, motion detection could turn a light on, or a high temperature reading could trigger a fan. The mFi mobile application allows you to control and monitor your mFi hardware devices. The mFi mobile application is compatible with mFi hardware, including mFi mPower networked power strips, mFi mPort machine controllers and mFi sensors. You can monitor temperature data, get historical energy usage, see when doors open and close, turn devices on and off, all in real time. The mFi hardware is compatible with third-party sensors and machines, making the options unlimited!
